Director of Fertility Services Sales

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive direct sales of medical and pharmacy management services through multiple channels, including but not limited to large employers, labor unions, and health & welfare consulting firms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborates with senior executives and the Chairman of the Board on the companies overall short, mid- and long-term sales and marketing strategies. ?Achieves sales and marketing success in large employer, health plan and labor unions markets. ?Achieves sales and revenue growth consistent with company targets and profitability objectives. ?Contacts potential customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mass mailings, personal contacts, and other networking opportunities to gain entry for our executive sales team, and consummate sales. ?Works with members of the Management Team to develop sales presentations and proposals. ?Attends customer sales meetings, participating and following-up in the sales cycle as needed to secure optimal sales results. ?Participates in design and creation of promotional and collateral sales material. ?Tracks progress and reports on status of sales efforts on a regular basis. ?Represents the company at industry forums, presentations, and other marketing events. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 7 years experience in consultative sales of any product or service to employers, health plans, labor unions, benefits consultants, or health & welfare consulting firms. ?Experience developing high-level relationships with managed care companies, self-insured businesses and brokers, and consultants. ?Sales of specialty benefits, voluntary benefits, pharmacy benefit management or other healthcare-related services to employers, unions, or benefits consultants highly desirable. ?Demonstrated track record of generating sales and revenue growth. ?Experience creating marketing, promotional and sales collateral material. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES ?Strong knowledge of group benefits, current trends and players. Strong oral and written communication skills. ?Self-motivated; able to work autonomously in a collaborative environment. ?Demonstrated creativity, foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving problems. ?Entrepreneurial, results-oriented style and demeanor. ?Established relationships with decision-makers in our market segments, e.g., health plans, payors, consultants and/or major employers highly desired. ?A style that exhibits a strong work ethic, integrity, efficiency and results orientation. ?Availability to travel at least 60%.
